Todd Astle is a proud Cantabrian and New Zealand Black Cap cricketer. And now he also does mental skills coaching. Todd has played for the New Zealand Black Caps in Test, ODI and T20 cricket. He has also played more than 100 first-class matches for Canterbury, and is their leading all-time wicket taker.
It’s often stated that top level sport is all about the ‘top two inches’, or ‘90 % mental’, yet many have no idea where to start when it comes to creating a plan for developing their mindset and mental ‘peak performance’ skills.
Todd has harnessed his learnings and playing experiences over his career, having worked with and alongside so many incredible athletes, coaches and mentors in sport. He aims to facilitate others in reaching their ‘next level’ in any performance domain.
In collaboration with Motus Health, Todd endeavours to help others turn their potential into performance on their path to achieving their goals and dreams.
In working with Todd, clients will gain greater understanding of the key questions – who am I, what do I want, and how do I get there?
Sessions will help to enhance self-awareness, an ability to manage distractions and emotions, coping mechanisms for stress and pressure, as well as a central focus on resilience and wellbeing.
